Whilst it might seem to be a bit of a minefield with three distinct batches in the initial build (D6300-D6305, D6306-D6333, D6334-D6357) and several modifications along the way, it's do-able. This is a great place to start... I could get behind that. A reasonable sized diesel suitable for BLT's. John 1

Ironic that Dapol's 4mm D63xx is featured on that cover, but despite emails & suggestions to Dapol via a similar thread here on RMweb, so far there has been no inkling at all that they might do it in O Scale. Beat them to it & corner the market!!! I'll have D6320 in GSYP, please, complete with it's unofficial name "Lister" on the one side.... 😁😁😁👍👍👍

petemster
Nah, It's time to get away from all this Western bias. How about an LNER/BR B1 ? Or even a K1. Or, since we are speculating wildly, a K4!
Trainsandtravel
Having seen pictures of Accurascale Manors in 00 gauge, I would really like to see them make the Manors in O gauge. That would be fantastic.
GM36
I would like to see an O gauge J15 and some gresley suburban coaches.
RMweb Premium thegreenhowards Posted August 18, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 18, 2023 My first choice would be a class 21/29 to complement the recent Heljan Class 27. I rather fear that it will be a J69 as I’ve recently finished a kit built one! Andy

Trainsandtravel
Perhaps a class 108 DMU in O gauge? These have been popular in other scales and have operated through the UK so could have a good appeal in O Gauge? And definitely a class 150 in O gauge would be very popular.

ISTR that Heljan announced several DMU types, incl Cl101 and Cl108, probably a couple of years ago. There might have been more. It all seems to have gone quiet, or maybe I missed it. But don’t remember a class 108 announcement. Kind of hoping Accurascale can produce some value for money locos and DMUs for O gauge just like they have in 00 gauge.

Happy to be corrected, it was some time ago and perhaps wishful thinking on my part. Dapol have produced 0 gauge models that are great value for money IMO, so Accurascale should be able to do the same. John
RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted August 27, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 27, 2023 It would be fantastic to see an O Gauge GWR Hall from Accurascale. 5972 in Hogwarts livery for me please lol

AMJ
By O scale you are all thinking about standard gauge. Why not an RTR O scale NG loco such as a Quarry Hunslet? I can imagine that there would be many who would upscale from OO9.
