Class 66, By Accurascale

Recommended Posts

Is there a function list available for these yet? Mainly the lighting functions? Would also be handy to know if these are using ESU’s proprietary set up to access all the functions, done using the susi output pins, or if they’ll all be accessible via the 10(+2 directional) outputs on the 21pin interface.

I know this was discussed a lot in the 37 thread so I’d like to make clear that for these models, being a staple of the modern railways it won’t affect my order of all 10 versions. I’m more asking to know if I can go ahead with purchasing my preferred Zimo decoders of choice and just do some programming, or if I need to wait for the non-sound ESU ones for full functionality.

Just saw this on the AS updates page.

66's in production ETA Q1, but stuff in transit ETA Q2....

Will they be on a speedboat to overtake the warwells?

😃

Surely it would have to be Chinook ZA723?

Serious amount of refuelling stops with that 😂

But still quicker than a ship, but just think how cool it would be! Reinforce the roof and it could land at the warehouse!

Funny, but just to clarify, as a question is Evening Star included in the 1st shipment, anticipated sometime very soon ... please?

Thanks,

Al.

not sure where the other 2 GBRf ones where, however I believe the DRS example was running over on the gresty bridge tmd layout, however I didn’t get a chance to see myself. Was hoping to see the layouts Sunday but unfortunately that won’t happen now.

did manage to have a chat with accurascale’s Fran, and was informed these should be leaving the factory next week or so, with delivery being 6-8 weeks later so around mid to late April. Did also get confirmation that DCC chips will be sold for these like everything else accurascale have made thus far.

I did ask a few pages ago but it seems to have been missed, is there a function list for these yet for the lighting features? Any photos of the function card (like the 37’s had) would be greatly appreciated if it’s included on these models too.
