RMweb Gold ruggedpeak Posted November 21, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 21, 2022 Hi I'm using Firefox with Adblock plus and am a Gold Member. This morning I can't use RMWeb pages as I get an adblock related message appearing. It is still there even if I turn off ABP. Has not been a problem before. Am having to use another browser for now. Just go into the Settings and set tracker protection to Strict: This doesn't actually block ads, it blocks tracking scripts. However, since almost all ads include sneaky trackers, in effect the ads get blocked too. Firefox warns that this setting may prevent some sites from working, but I have never had any problems, and I never see any ads on any web site (except on YouTube videos). If an advertiser complains that you are blocking their ads, tell them that you are not -- if they want you to see it, don't put a tracker in it. I wouldn't disagree with the implementation of some of them. Believe me, I do say my piece and I do get very frustrated with the speed of resolving identified issues. I am not removing my ad blocker or joining Gold. Mainly because of the loss of photos for a second time after I had replaced them following the first time, making my thread seem stupid. No I replaced my missing photos, now there are missing ones again. Have a look at my thread. They also disappeared from my other threads, they were still there when you lost the first lot. I clicked the left one and the popup came straight back, clicked the right one and it went away. Now I can't get it back to take a screenshot for you. Might try clearing my rmweb cookies to see if that brings the popup back. Edit: here you go. Might be because I have text set to display at 110% for ease of reading?
