Also interesting to note the 6 units that were split for the 3rd coaches were all inherited from Wessex Trains while the 2 car units they were coupled to are all ex-TPE. RMweb Premium dale159 Posted May 21 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 21 Here's a table I made a while back of all the 158/9 formations I could find Northern's 158943 was a temporary formation with 57842 being out of action long term for some reason (3rd coach also put in the middle rather than on one end of other unit) Central Trains made 3 cars for the summer months 2 years running - only 158951 featured exactly the same formation both times. Wessex Trains had a mixture of 4 Cummins engined and 5 Perkins engined units which seems to have left 52868 either spare or unserviceable during this period.
