Well that's sorted then Network Yellow it is, on website Monday, Production over summer delivery Q3 2023, perhaps ease off the black stuff if we are going to achieve this timetable 😉

I know of a large test train layout that is mostly yellow......

Except it’s not…. The class 31 in that livery on the GCR is D5830, not the original recipient in BR days D5579.

Thanks for the potted history link to 31276. 

Seems odd that the Calder Hall power station plates were transferred to 31130, even though it survived another eight years. Mostly locos which donated their plates tended to be withdrawn and scrapped.  Ironically 31130 is preserved at Bitton so may have been a more profitable choice.
