CP 8757 - Every Child Matters Locomotive

In Canada September 30th 2021 was the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a federal holiday enacted earlier this year as a result of the stories earlier this year on the horrors of the residential school system that First Nation kids were forced into, and sadly many died in.

To commemorate the victims and honour the survivors of the residential school system CP has painted one of its locomotives in orange with "Every Child Matters" on the side, a proposal made to CP by a 13-year old Indigenous youth.
