Scale Model Scenery kit, with Redutex wall and zinc roof covering. Best Wishes Clive Clive, Having Googled 'Post Office sign', the oval cream / red POST/ (arrow) / OFFICE sign, on top of a pillar box, was typical of your rural example. If the premises are also a shop, the name of the proprietor over the door would also be typical. I hope that this helps, John.

I also wondered (from a dim and distant memory) whether the signage should read General Post Office. Clive

MrWolf
This enamel type was above the door on a lot of rural post offices and combined shops. Depth is only about 8". 1

Gopher
Having completed the milking parlour from the SMS kit. I had one small building left over. I was going to put it in my spares box. Then I thought I'd make it and use it to replace a Bachmann ready to plant building at the diesel refuelling point. So it is the new storage hut. Still got to bed it into the scenery
