RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted September 10, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 10, 2021 Time to start a new thread for shots of this years - 2021 - RHTT workings. Unfortunately I missed - literally by seconds - the delivery of our FEAs to Stowmarket by 57002 last week so don't have any shots to start the thread but, after the arrival of 37425 and 37407 today, the shakedown of the Stowmarket sets is due to start next week so hopefully photos will abound soon. Feel free to add your shots of *2021* workings to the thread.

Railfreight1998
Again not an rhtt set, but some of the route learners from Inverness to Montrose and back. Wonder if this might mean an FEA set this year rather than the usual mpv. 67016 on the southbound leg passing Feathers, Stonehaven. 3/8/21 The same loco heading north from Mossend for another set of training runs a few days later. 16/8/21 Grey/silver 67012 is doing the this weeks learners.
RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted September 10, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 10, 2021 If you have access to Railcam there has been activity at York South Yard with departing trains and I think a DB 66 is due there now.
Busmansholiday
DRS have already had a couple route learning runs last week, think 37422 and 37423 were used. The big question is, will we see any 20's this year.
sir douglas
didnt DRS retire all their 20's early last year?, and did some railtours to mark the end

DRS retired their 20s after the end of the RHTT season in 2019. The 20s (20118 & 20132) that were used in Yorkshire on some occasions during last years RHTT season were ‘hire ins’ from Harry Needle Railroad Company.

RMweb Gold big jim Posted October 1, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 1, 2021 It all starts for me (and @Marcus 37 ) tonight, I’m getting passed out on kings Norton to reddish and I’m passing him out on Aston to Lichfield on the MPV circuit on its first night out in anger spraying Sunday I’ve got the class 66 circuit, last time I looked 66731 ‘Tom Moore’ was on the shakedown runs so I’m hoping it’s been swapped out otherwise it’s going to get filthy very quickly! 1

eastwestdivide
Rotherham Parkgate, 66434 and 66426 I think: blurry mobile shots during a carefully-timed trip to the supermarket at just gone eight this morning. The working is the 0647 Sheffield-Sheffield via Barnsley and Wakefield Kirkgate. Bit of a change from the mostly 37s last year and the elderly 20s before that. Nearly went out for the return through Masboro, but the rain's come on now. Nesh, I know.

RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted October 5, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 5, 2021 (edited) The first RHTT for me this year was something a little special... 69001 and 69002 top and tailing the 3W91 10:53 Tonbridge West Yard - Tonbridge West Yard, reversing at Pulborough - 5th October 2021. Apparently they were last minute replacements for the usual class 73. Could this be the first appearance of a 69 on the RHTT? At the time of writing they are in the Horsham area heading towards Crawley... Edited May 26 by Claude_Dreyfus Fixed Photos
