It had been on a railtour from Liverpool to the exhibition in Manchester Liverpool Road, part of which involved Lion. I can't link directly to the details but check the date 14/09/80 on this website. https://www.sixbellsjunction.co.uk/ Some photos of the exhibition here. https://www.47soton.co.uk/2013/12/rocket-150-great-railway-exposition.html Jason 1

Unless of course it has been re-purposed for another system?

That kind of makes sense, I just saw it as a 73 in NSE, really didn’t think anything of it… 😀 I believe it was 73126 that was named after the K&ESR in about 1991 and NSE stuck it on a low loader for its naming ceremony at the same railway and operation for a week or so. Still nice to know there’s a company that acknowledges history though 😀

RMweb Premium Mol_PMB Posted June 2 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 2 Thanks to Ernie on Flickr, here's another implausible freight hauled by a BRCW Bo-Bo, but a bit further north: Just one Freightliner flat, some vans, and just one double-deck car carrier. You might need a mix of Hornby and Lima models for this (back in the day) And from Marcel van Eupen, a scene that could almost be the UK 20+ years ago, but is actually present-day:

They would have to be Lima HO scale for the 1980s train set!
