Red House Stables is a pleasant Caravan Club CL located just south of Darley Dale where the railway line runs through a cutting on the edge of the site. Trains are clearly viewable from a pitch and walks along the lineside are easy to access.
CDGfife
Bannut Tree Farm CL in Worcestershire is a one field walk from Arley Station on the Severn Valley Railway. Couple of pubs within walking distance and an easy walk down the lane and over the river into Upper Arley for the tearoom.

RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted May 29, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 29, 2021 We are currently staying at a superb little site 30 mins walk from Sherringham Station on the North Norfolk Line. Called Mill Cottage Motorhome site. Only takes 6 vehicles and adults only, no dogs. £55.50 for three nights. The owner is very helpful and allows use of his lovely landscaped garden. Off to the railway tomorrow. Cheers, Ade.

RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted July 18, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 18, 2021 Currently staying at Measham House Farm. It is actually 5 miles from the Battlefield Line and Shackerstone Station. So not really walking distance but fine if you have a bike which is why we chose it. Very nice site with plenty of space but you need your own loo. Water and electric hook up are available. Caravans and Motorhomes. £20 a night. RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted April 29, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) This site is ideal for the Talylln Railway which is about a 10 minute walk from the site to Tywyn station. Pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans. Water and electric hook up £30 a night. Toilet block is very modern and clean. Views are superb and even had the main line running past in the distance. http://www.vaenolcaravanpark.co.uk/ Edited April 29, 2023 by Adrian Stevenson Pic 2 1
RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted May 20, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 20, 2023 This is a great site if you wish to visit Peak Rail Rowsley. There is a caravan and motorhome site as part of the Grouse & Claret Pub at Rowsley. About 20 mins walk to the station. Nice small site with about 30 pitches, electric hook up and showers and toilets on site. The pub is very nice. Situated next to the Derwent and the former railway viaduct. You can climb up to the viaduct if you are adventurous. £36 a night. If wives are not into railways there is Peak Village shopping centre next door. 4
