RMweb Premium Gedward Posted June 9, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted June 9, 2021 I first put down a layer of 2mm straw. Not with the static grass applicator, but sprinkled by hand with a shaker. And then a layer of 2mm early spring using the applicator. However the glue was painted on strategically. So as to leave patches. Once all the rocks and walling is in place, I will use the longer lengths of static grass. 1

Spooky ! G That's both interesting and spooky. We're planning to add a derelict cottage or barn if the space permits. So that could be an ideal place to plant some tulips.

RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted June 11, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 11, 2021 Sherry is at Whiddon Down this weekend, accompanied by a police widow who used to own a big house at Bovey Tracey. And another of our AmDram group is a bit of a painter, so last week on our Zoom she showed us an early 'blocking in' of a painting that already clearly showed Hay Tor. She has also recently completed a painting for the next production - which is 'Allo 'Allo, so as you might guess it is the 'Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies'. Margaret, a widow and former school nurse, is 78 this year.... 3

The closest I ever got to AmDram was working as a film extra for a couple years after I retired.
