didcot Posted June 8, 2021 Share Posted June 8, 2021 We did a Williams museum tour in 2019. The cheapest thing in the shop was a small part from the gearbox at £40. Even the small Corgi type cars were out of our pocket. Our boys had saved pocket money for a baseball cap each and they came home disappointed. Apparently they use a pressure pad system, go off the track and drive over it you get a penalty. Black and white, no room for interpretation. He has also been shown not to be a team player in the latest Drive to Survive series when it suits, but then how many drivers really are. I suspect if he was in a Red Bull he would be on the reserves bench by now. He has had plenty of chances, some bad luck, being team mate to a 7 times world champion must hard, but its rare he brings the fight to Hamilton or Verstappen. Although both know the other Team fairly well as George proved last year and for VB, another stint at Williams may be what he needs, i.e. less pressure and go back to enjoying his Racing again.
