RMweb Premium John Isherwood Posted December 6, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 6, 2020 Does anyone produce non-operational / cosmetic turnout levers for sidings - either the straight or the cranked style would do? John Isherwood.

Duly ordered, along with some Markits two-ball handrail stanchions for my turntable. Regards, John Isherwood.
RMweb Gold Dagworth Posted December 6, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 6, 2020 I make my own from round brass wire. Bend the crank as appropriate and then use a hammer to create the flat bar effect. This has the advantage of work hardening the brass. Leave the top of the handle unhammered. RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted December 7, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 7, 2020 Dart Castings also still do them https://www.dartcastings.co.uk/dart/L31B.php
Wheatley
Same as Dagworth here, except I used flat bar and filed a round (ish) handle on them. They are painfully robust when it comes to track cleaning, they've damaged me more often than I've damaged them.
