I assumed it was the last one that you’d made up, but apparently it’s a thing. Pea protein milk, sounds yum.

You're right, that wasn't the one I made up.

Ah, but what sort of milk? Cold, hot, frothed? Raw, full cream, reduced fat, low fat, skimmed, organic, lactose-free, UHT, sweetened, unsweetened, goat, sheep, soy, oat, almond, macadamia, cashew, peanut, coconut, rice, pea protein?

PS I only made one of those up...

Don't forget Tiger Milk, that is reassuringly expensive.  I wish I'd saved the container (or at least took a photo), to prove to unbelievers that you can get it.

Admittedly it's from the Tiger Nut but that's just boring.

Good afternoon Captain K,

We always (Derby types) referred to it as Priv Tea, discount given on presentation of suitable id such as a priv travel photocard.

Never available for coffee IIRC, but who wanted the Max Pak brown water anyway?

Cheers, Nigel.

Used to be black or white, with or without (in the CCF, white with was always called "Standard NATO"). Life was simpler then.

Whoopi Goldberg - black nun, as opposed to Julie Andrews - white nun.

Always a Whoopi for me...

It would be interesting to know how to milk an oat.

You need a really small stool and bucket and warm your hands first.

Or a tiger...

A tiger is easy. You do it very carefully. Better still get someone else to do it.

I've ridden several Tigers, never tried to milk one though.

Here we have a shot of a young lady steadying her nerves before attempting to milk a Tiger.

Ah yes,

milk = milk

semi-skimmed = milk flavoured water with added sugar

skimmed = milk coloured water with even more added sugar

Just in case anyone wants/needs to cut down on sugar intake.

I've always liked coffee with evaporated milk. I picked up the taste for it in the army. Back to NATO STANDARD! It's what came with the care package we got in the evenings from the cook house when on duty. Ideal Milk was good but for some reason Carnation was better. An extra plus was you needed less sugar as it's quite sweet. Give it a go you won't regret it.

Regards Lez.

I must be quite odd, as I like like my milky tea without tea, hot water or sugar.

I wouldn't worry about it, if you weren't odd, you wouldn't be here...😆

Carnation milk is great, sitting at the base of a tree in pouring rain, trying (and failing) to stay dry, can't brew up?

Stab two holes in the top of a tin of Carnation and drink that instead.

Top stuff.

Is that a fully fledged Tiger or a "Tiger Cub" - Whatever, it can still get you into trouble!

It looks to be a T20C Tiger Cub from around 1958.

I find it easier to count the number of drivers who seem to be driving as if they know how to easier. What's more I rarely get to use more than one hand which is handy.

Make mine a tea, white and one sugar please. Any digestives going?
