That doesn't sound good at all. I'll stick with the antiquated Brooks B66 sprung saddle on my racer instead. RMweb Premium John Besley Posted April 5, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 5, 2022 Don't ask what the initiation ceremony was for new cleaners on loco sheds was... Usually performed during the night shift.... 1
MrWolf
I can imagine how HR would react to that nowadays, dashing about like the white rabbit except the mantra would be "safe place!" rather than "I'm late!"...
Popular Post MrWolf
Apologies for the lack of updates on here, we've been given the opportunity to move to a much better place, so it's been all hands on deck to get organized and gone. The new place is a bit bigger, definitely less damp and in a much better area than this one has become. Aston will be dismantled and shipped to it's new home. Fortunately it's designed to be portable and at least I can now improve the system of legs I originally built for it to make it easier to live with. It's also going to give the thread a chance to settle down before I look at what pictures need replacement. I'm on with a little project on the bench which I hope to reveal soon. RMweb Gold Graham T Posted April 7, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 7, 2022 And there's a good illustration of why I don't have a house any more; 365k and you still have to convert it into something you can actually live in! 2

RMweb Gold Donw Posted April 7, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 7, 2022 I reckon you could make a bob or two out of doing that up if you did the work yourself. Sadly our days of doing things like that are over and of course we never had the money for one like that when younger Don.

That was all brick not so long ago. I wonder if the roof lifts up and the whole front swings open in common with other doll's houses? MrWolf
I'll be keeping things a lot more like this. Apart from moving the filling station to the other end of the village that is. 😀 It's an excuse to include one of my other interests into what would otherwise be an empty field. 10
