That doesn't sound good at all.

I'll stick with the antiquated Brooks B66 sprung saddle on my racer instead.

Has he tried filling his shorts with Castrol EP2 ?

Good luck with the move Rob. I hope Aston gets set back up quicker than my railway has. I m hoping to get it running before we've been here two years ! (18 months so far . .. . )

Apologies for the lack of updates on here, we've been given the opportunity to move to a much better place, so it's been all hands on deck to get organized and gone.

The new place is a bit bigger, definitely less damp and in a much better area than this one has become.

Aston will be dismantled and shipped to it's new home. Fortunately it's designed to be portable and at least I can now improve the system of legs I originally built for it to make it easier to live with.

It's also going to give the thread a chance to settle down before I look at what pictures need replacement.

I'm on with a little project on the bench which I hope to reveal soon.

Rob

Wouldn't be this place by any chance?  Just come on the market today.

Bit of a fixer upper, lots of potential although may still be a bit damp...

Yes, I forgot to mention that I have just won the lottery! 😆

I hope whoever does get it doesn't des res all the character out of it or turn it into some tacky footballer's mansion.

God obviously doesn't like money, you only have to look at the people he gives it to...

I reckon you could make a bob or two out of doing that up if you did the work yourself. Sadly our days of doing things like that are over and of course we never had the money for one like that when younger

Might be too late for that. According to Google Street View, this is what next door looks like:

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest it's not quite in keeping with the character of the area.

Best wishes for the move, Rob.

Looking forward to seeing Aston in it's new home.

Nasty. That was all brick not so long ago.

I wonder if the roof lifts up and the whole front swings open in common with other doll's houses?

Anyone else finding the Add Files button doesn't work?

I'll be keeping things a lot more like this.

Round_house_and_Kangaroo_Inn_Aston-on-Clun_1294342(0).jpeg.a48f33b240df5e5a8c852bd902c40d5f.jpeg

Apart from moving the filling station to the other end of the village that is.

😀

It's an excuse to include one of my other interests into what would otherwise be an empty field.

You're going to include some women swinging swords about?!

Only one.

I should have realised when we first met and she told me her favorite movie was Kill Bill...

Interesting films, which could benefit from a rebranding exercise!

Just my humble opinion,

Bill

You should have a scanning session with ModelU. Just to see their faces when she walks in with a large sword...
