RMweb Premium Compound2632 Posted November 9, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 9, 2021 I should say, in the interest of balance and to demonstrate my complete impartiality, that you should also have a number of LNER and constituent wagons.

MrWolf
Ratio number 573, LMS 3 plank open, Diagram 1927, built 1935-49. These are an easy build and as a dropside are something different. They seem to be very numerous. MrWolf
Thanks everyone, I'm surprised that: A. This thread has reached a century already. B. About half of what I've written is actually relevant to model railways. 8

Actually, I will be needing one of those, though it is likely to be scratch built, given the amount of free manure that would be generated by a couple of thousand sheep per month! It will naturally be some kind of ramshackle corrugated iron arrangement.
Tortuga
Liking the medfit. Definitely need a couple of those for Alsop. Are the door bangers white metal or is that just the light? Congratulations on 100 pages by the way.

The door bangers are the plastic items that come with the kit, but they're well protected by the brake gear so it's not an issue. It also comes with extra parts for double sided power brakes for the BR era. I think I'm more surprised than anyone at getting to 100 pages in less than a year.

MrWolf
Anybody else struggling to upload pictures? It's been taking a dozen or more attempts lately. Either the site crashes completely or I get a meaningless message saying "Unable to complete previous operation due to low memory" It's frustrating because I can upload pictures instantly to other graphics / image heavy platforms, all the usual ones. I have to post, then keep editing until it works, or just give up.
