My beautiful boy Salem passed away yesterday at 16 years of age. My son and I found him and his brother dumped in our local car park. They were very young and we decided to keep both of them. Knowing what I now do of our local pound at the time I am glad we did. His brother (Jet) passed away many years ago but Salem kept on going. It seemed like he would always be here. A big boy, he was friendly and loving. Absolutely loved a cuddle on the lounge and slept on our bed virtually every night.

Rest in peace Salem, I really am going to miss you.

If I attempted that with Finn, my ginger and white lad, I'd genuinely fear for my life! :o
