RMweb Gold Popular Post Craigw Posted April 25, 2021 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 25, 2021 My beautiful boy Salem passed away yesterday at 16 years of age. My son and I found him and his brother dumped in our local car park. They were very young and we decided to keep both of them. Knowing what I now do of our local pound at the time I am glad we did. His brother (Jet) passed away many years ago but Salem kept on going. It seemed like he would always be here. A big boy, he was friendly and loving. Absolutely loved a cuddle on the lounge and slept on our bed virtually every night. Rest in peace Salem, I really am going to miss you. RMweb Gold Popular Post big jim Posted April 26, 2021 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 26, 2021 We had a nice thing happen this weekend, the rescue had a cat in who stayed at our house who despite searching no one came forward to say the was theirs, well cared for but not chipped, absolutely lovely temperament, loved a fuss, chilled with the other cats, no hissing or fighting with them (Lola on the other hand was having none of it!) i tweeted a ‘do you know this cat’ post which in turn was tetweeted by various high profile local people then Saturday night someone came forward to say he belonged to them and had been missing since January when he escaped the house, a few checks and yes he was the missing cat called Charlie basically he belonged to an old guy who had to go into a home and the grandson had taken him on, booked him in to be chipped but in the meantime he escaped and never came back, looking at where he was found he was most likely trying to get home to the old guys house! he was reunited with the grandson on Sunday, he’s now chipped too, a happy ending all round 9 11

Popular Post grahame
Some great cats on this thread. Salem looked to be a handsome lad. I'll break cover about my cat. He's a rescue cat that I adopted at the end of January. His name is Marley (the name he came with) and he's a 10 year old boy with arthritis. He is great companionship and company and sits snuggled up to me on the couch to watch football on TV. And he now sleeps at the bottom of my bed at night. He has Yumove medicine every day but he seems to like it and is at the stage of going out and exploring the garden which is significantly reducing his use of the litter tray. I had to get a cat flat installed in double glazing which wasn't cheap. Here he is this morning, in the sun on the mat by the back patio doors: 24

RMweb Gold Popular Post Craigw Posted May 2, 2021 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted May 2, 2021 i was doing some modelling on Saturday night. As was usual, I had company. Lola has the decency to sit peacefully on my lap and let me model - unlike Gino who will stop any movement until I give up and cuddle him. Anyway, with Lola sitting comfortably, Amber decided that she wanted some lap time. Thus, we had a stand off. Regards, Craig W 17

Popular Post Michael Hodgson
Pisicuta (which means Pussy Cat in his native Romania), a feral street cat rescued just over a year ago. He liked to be outdoors but quickly decided he loved being tickled under the chin and preferred a roof over his head when the weather was cold and wet. Loved to climb trees and did a good impression of the local black squirrels but he got run over and killed this morning. He is greatly missed.
