Hmm, nasty  job but should now be ok.  Buy it might be ok for a long time.   I have been on warfarin for 20 years and have probably consumed enough of the stuff in that time to kill several thousand rats.

3rd visit in three days

 

Supplementary Vein Inflamation, same symptoms.

 

Ultrasound scan on all leg veins found the blockage, inflamation of the vein.

I got mine two years ago, together with pulmonary embolisms . Hospital twice a week for some time, but now stable on warfarin.

The Hospital and various consultants have been great throughout (although one has to manage some of the coordination of information oneself, nowadays)

 

The biggest problem is not being able to use any pain-killers, other than paracetamol at one end of the scale, or cocodamol at the other (which having had a disc go, has been a problem).
