Still a work in progress but the sun came out, which was too good an opportunity to miss...

I was paying a compliment to 2manyspams.  It is a fantastic piece of modelling to make it look that realistic of an old building.  AY Mod commented before I had a chance to coreect my typo.

Are you saying it's taking @2ManySpams ages to finish it? 😁

I know, just winding him up. The buildings come out to play each September as a show date looms.

Hi, as inferred by Andy, the model is about 9yrs old. The prototype was pre 1830, which is the earliest photo I have of the area.

The attention paid to the ballast in the foreground is very evident. Simply superb.

Rob.

Really really nice.

I am embarrassed to admit I have five Cambrian Herring kits in a box somewhere, which I have "lost". I notice they are out of stock on the Cambrian website, and not sure if they will produce a new batch.

Chicken & egg. The website clearly states:

It is our policy that items will only be shown as in stock if we physically have the designated number of bagged kits or items to dispatch immediately. Continued high demand from our exhibition traders means that we are not holding as much 4mm stock as we would like. However out of stock items are available to pre-order. We are moulding new items every day and will prioritise production of pre-ordered items so that they will normally be available for dispatch within 3 days with the rest of your order.

In other words, if you don't order any, they won't make any.

Very nice weathering and D200 looks so good without yellow ends.
