Exquisite! As convincing as it gets.

Thanks for your kind comments, but the layout and scenery is entirely the work of John F (Re6/6).

Hi Duncan, lovely work. Do you mind briefly describing the method used for the goods yard ash surface please?

Hi westernviscount

The method I used to simulate the ash/cinders goods yard surface was to mix some polyfiller with black acrylic paint and spread it over the cork base and also brushed some in between the sleepers to simulate the dirt.  I then went over it with a wet sponge to take out any trowel  marks.

A few from me of a small, no railway, corner of Diesels in the Duchy. Damian's @Indomitable026 project I helped out on. The pub was based on the Parr Inn at Parr. Found the photos the other day, must be from about 10 years ago...

Not sure what's going on here, obviously a high class establishment...

An angle the punters would never see - from the backscene looking forward.

Apart from the generally excellent modelling and believable scene, what's nice about this is the lack of a gap between the bottom of the pavement kerb stones and the road...

Cheers CK, just like the real thing, the kerbs were installed before the road surface. Can't remember for the life of me how I did the road surface though.

Freshly outshopped from Crewe Works, 47710 awaits the crew to board at Nifkin's Bridge before its test run on the Crewe to Holyhead service.
