Popular Post brylonscamel
Another attempt at a 'no locomotive' scene. This one is my attempt at the old 'Allan & Black' station garage that used to sit at the back of Aboyne station. Now transported to Dad's 'Braeside' layout, cut down to fit our space and renamed, the aim was to at least capture the spirit of this classic garage in 1:76.  Edited March 20, 2023 by brylonscamel Text correction 53

RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted March 22, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 22, 2023 Prime candidate for a reproduction I'd have thought, simple robust design, ideal size for heritage railway use, attractive liveries, modern design but Victorian 'look' and fast enough for main line work, as a pilot for Jubilees, Black 5s, or Royal Scots (or The Unknown Warrior when it's finished), or singly for lighter loads. Â I like 2Ps, well proportioned and stylish little things. 2

Popular Post JonathonAG
A couple from on 'Dunfermline Upper 62C', with the layout pretending to be Perth South and St Margaret sheds for two of the photos. At Dunfermline itself, visiting V2 No. 60883 goes for a spin on the turntable after bringing a goods down over the Glenfarg line and into the Upper yards. Next, inside St Margarets, an unidentified A3 sits devoid of life in the darkness with Dunfermline's B1 No. 61029 in for general repairs. And finally, substituting for Perth South. A very early morning on the summer solstice in 1958, as based Standard 5 No. 73107 is prepared alongside Eastfield's No. 44908 before they tie up together and make the trip into the station to meet the Down 'Royal Highlander'. 62
