Popular Post andy stroud Posted March 8, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted March 8, 2021 (edited)  Here are another couple of images from my layout Blueball Summit, this time featuring a green class 37 on an engineers ballast train. In the picture above, the train has just emerged from the depths of Blueball Tunnel and is seen passing over the viaduct which carries the railway high above the village. In the second picture below, the engine is seen again a few minutes later after having reversed its train into the refuge or engineers siding near the station at Blueball. This second picture gives the impression of a busy four track main line, however the two outer tracks are goods loop and sidings.   Edited March 8, 2021 by andy stroud 41 12 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Broadoak Posted March 8, 2021 Share Posted March 8, 2021  The Yellow shunter is a creation made in the Farm’s workshop it too is another Gardner Diesel powered device. She is seen on a weed killing train in the yard about to start a day’s work in the fields. Care has to be taken with the chemicals used for weed killing because continued use damages the track itself. She is built on a modified chassis made in the farm workshop, the two bogies give extra braking power as the wagons don’t have brakes.
