RMweb Premium New Haven Neil Posted 1 hour ago RMweb Premium Share Posted 1 hour ago Indeed. The Procurement Manager in Mrs NHN's department likes fancy things (liked - no longer employed by the organisation called Government) and bought the Airport safety crew a top of the range Skoda 4x4. They had asked for a van. So when dirty items need to thrown in the back of a van, they instead ruin an expensive car interior. Worse still, it is used to patrol the runways and taxiways around the place for debris, birds, bits of Boeing etc, and oh how the lane avoidance thing loved it! The crews eventually refused to drive it after getting into bother several times with the bloody thing, a van was transferred from elsewhere for them! Did I mention no longer employed.....that was just one of their great 'schemes', any more comment would be inappropriate. 1

I think that action n was taken to cancel or reduce a lot of them. Jamie
RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted 20 minutes ago RMweb Premium Share Posted 20 minutes ago My cars automatic headlights come on at the right time for me so I leave them to it. The auto wipers come on by using the single wipe switch and adjust themselves according to the amount of rain, very useful. The rear socket is handy for the electric tyre pump meaning I don't have to stretch the cable from the front to pump up the rear tyres.
