Along with my Filofax and the external hard drive that have not reappeared after the move though the house was empty.

Been there, done that, unfortunately the T-shirt was one of those items. 😢

At least you have a workbench! 😢

Oh dear oh dear.  Do we have to add Dave no bench to the list of other deprived denizens of TNM such as no garage PB and no shed WB.

Fifth Dimension?? Well then, OK:

They don't make 'em like they used to....

As for Panniers, I've a motley collection in OO.

14xx locos are different, I've 1 in O, 1 in N, and a swarm in OO....

These things tend to breed!

I had a 14xx in 4mm scale, but I sent it up to Geoff Forster for use on his LLangunllo branch:  Then he too was lured by the siren call of 7 mm scale!

I have the Dapol version in 7mm scale, numbered as1401 which was the star of the film Titfield Thunderbolt.  Eventually it will become Radyr's 1410.  Still the same numbers, just in a slightly different order!

Finally I have  one of the early Brandbright G1 live steam versions fitted with one of the Pearse 4 cylinder oscillators (NHN may have come across them in his travels).  I really ought to get this one up and running as it's a sweet little thing to look at, but rather temperamental mechanically.

At last count, the pannier fleet was up to eight, although this will be due for slight thinning out.

As an aside, Dave can tolerate panniers in small well managed numbers, as evidenced by him remaining on the operating side of Pantmawr North for most of the day last Saturday.

To paraphrase Major Bloodnock and Neddy Seagoon of Goons fame:

DH - "What makes you think that I would tolerate pannier tanks HH?

HH - "This piece of bara brith."

DH - "What a lucky guess."

This happened twice.

Less nice is their conclusion that she may have had a minor stroke at some stage.... Sigh.

It is good that it is only may and at some stage.   I understand that if another stroke is going to follow a minor stroke it is likely within 90 days.  All these mays and likelys must still be very worrying, especially after Sherry’s surgery,  but I see positives in your statement too.  I sincerely hope am right.

Sorry, Sqdn Leader, it can't be helped 😂

Cheers, Nigel.

This was at the NEC earlier.

It has gr**t w*st*rn on the side and hasn't got a coal/water carrying truck behind and it doesn't have 4 small wheels in front.

Is it a paneer?tank.jpg.85817ab836df06ffa462afaf3224d46d.jpg

Well, its a proper engine for sure.

Too many wheels for a Pannier, and it's certainly NOT Erlestoke Manor....  🤪

It has 5 sets of wheels. Does that make it a Co-Bo?
