So is that where the hat is now? Perhaps NHN can keep an eye out for it.

Wind's the other way - although it may land in NHN's old homeland!  Fraggle Rock not really got it so bad, very windy but not scary level.

Rumour has it that Keir Starmer has demanded Hippo's resignation.....

And of course a full public enquiry so that his learned friends can make another fortune.

With the strength of the wind I was wondering if Fraggle Rock would end up in the North Sea.

These reports about my lost head gear being sighted are now  rather old hat!

I'll get my coat (which has not been blown off).

Thank goodness for small mercies, we didn't want Hipposhire sailing away.

Hipposhire can be deemed a moveable entity when required, but so are certain parts of my anatomy if this is to be believed:

So long as it doesn't end up in Columbia.  Apparently Hippos are now persona non grata there as they are an alien species.

Should we let it slip to Mr Putin that Mr H is on manoeuvres or do think he knows already.

It won't be the first time that they have been on the lookout for me.

The last time was as I was negotiating Checkpoint Alpha on my way up the corridor to West Berlin.

Good idea. Eat the treasures then that way Mr H won't have an excuse to come and 'visit'. Just be wary of 'false flag' activities.

Whilst everyone is terrified that Big H is intent on snaffling and watching closely, the rebels (a.k.a. Bear) has already been in and done the deed :biggrin_mini2:

Morgan has come around to do some fruit tree pruning.  we had arranged this prior to the various storm warnings.  We hadn't expected him as he was supposed to be out on major emergency tree work, but so far all is quiet on that front.

He is still on call should the weather worsen, although the biggest set back we've encountered so far was a rather vicious, but thankfully short, sleet storm.

When he arrived he  produced a Fig and Apricot cake, so any later emergency sorties to the local farm shop have been cancelled along with any  other raids to likely  home made cake storage facilities.

Of course this may be false propaganda and I am already out on the hunt.....

You never know!

On a much sadder note, I have just received an email from the Borders MRC to let me know that our President, and founding chairman Kevin Whittle, died yesterday after a long battle with Cancer.

It was Kevin, who after a continual drip drip drip of emails relating to the 7 mm activities at BRMC, finally persuaded me to start modelling in  7mm scale.  After a few visits to their meetings at Llandrinio, it also led to me joining the club:  A decision I have never regretted.

The Penderyn is going to take a hammering tonight

Very sorry to hear that Richatd. It's hard when someone who was an inspirational figure passes. All you can do is treasure the memories.
