RMweb Gold Ramblin Rich Posted April 28, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 28, 2011 Well, since my last one didn't last long I'll have another go! Just north of a former junction, there is still a divergence but there are now 2 parallel lines for around 4 miles to the "new" junction.

RMweb Gold Ramblin Rich Posted May 6, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 6, 2011 Well, found it now - Greenloaning near Gleneagles - I tried loads of other golf courses but overlooked that one! Next one is close to what's reckoned to be the remotest station in an Eastern county - 3.5 miles from the nearest road. There's a good chance we've done this before but there's a thunderstorm moving in & I need to switch off now!
RMweb Gold Ramblin Rich Posted May 7, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 7, 2011 Just to confuse matters - another source puts the station 2 miles from the nearest road...! A path crosses the line with a name related to cloth making.

eastwestdivide
Best not to leave any clues in the file name that's visible when you hover the mouse over the square. Or to put it another way, how old is your waterfowl?

Southernman46
Berney Arms Yes it is !!! I walked it once whilst birdwatching (1986) - it's miles from anything - the station platform had a single lamp which appeared to be so that the driver could locate it in the dark rather than for any potential passengers
Bulleidboy
Next Square: No clues just yet!
