Hotpot
Hi everyone, I have an NCE power cab, address 2 connected with the flat cable and another power cab used as a procab, address 3, connected with the curly cable. My problem is that the procab switches on OK but does not control anything even though it allows you to select a loco or accy, but if I were to plug it into the flat cable with the other cab disconnected, it all works. Can anyone help? Cheers, Hotpot.
BromsMods
Have you got the PowerCab with address 2 plugged into the correct side of the PowerCab panel? Edited November 20, 2019 by BromsMods
SRman
You may have to delay the start of the Power Cab acting as the Pro Cab on address 3. Depending on the version of your firmware, there may be two ways to do this: 1. Let Cab 2 start up, then plug cab 3 in. 2. If you have the latest Power Cab version on cab 3, program in a start delay. You may have to look this up in the manual or query it online.
Hotpot
Thanks for the replies. Yes I do have cab 2 in the correct side of the panel but I have not tried the delayed start. I will give that a go and see what happens. Thanks again.
Hotpot
Thanks for the suggestions, waiting to plug cab 3 in seems to have done the trick and every time I have tried it, it all works. Many thanks.
