More announcements you say? Keeps up your once a week streak I suppose.

Hopefully something that fits my late 80’s theme would be smashing!

Does the McC thumbs up indicated that it will be late 80s theme?

Late 60s to early 70s, pre TOPS would be better.

I’d imagine there’ll be something for everyone 🤞

So who has the bogie footsteps correct, Bachmann or Accurascale? The ones on the Accurascale are very prominent and look out of gauge, presumably just on the pre production samples, are these correct?

Neil.

Am sure you can make an educated opinion when the 37 production sample photos and videos are shared next week

Worth a mention that all three steps on our model is an individually fitted etch with full see-thru grid 👍

Particularly if it is an RSH built loco as supplied new to the WR - you can add my order now if you like gents.   Getting really good weathering on one of these is going to be an intersting challebge in view of teh way it changed the look of the green in different ways.

Aye the modern 37/4 is first here i think, this is for ROG and yellow network rail jobbies.

Believe that it goes:

37/0 Car Headlight and 37/4 in 1st lot.

37/6 & Network Rail.  Most excited about the 37/6 in Compass.  Got something so wrong, but beautiful for them to pull....

37/0 as built last.

Wonder what the UK - Ireland balance of payments will be like after these arrive?

Nice one for a chuckle.  But Accurascale, while obviously closely associated with IRM, is a British registered company that paid £376,250 in taxes etc to the British Govt in 2021 (its most recent accounts).

It is therefore rather helpful of them to pay a few bob, sorry pence, towards my prescriptions.   So we really do put some in and we get some back from them.  We'd get even more back with a WR RSH built EE Type 3 (in case they missed my previous plea request ‼️)

It was on the Dean Park Facebook somewhere buried in a set of nested comments to one of the posts on the FNA-D.

Hi Guy,

The comment was in another FB group and was moderated. I did not see any such comment regarding the FNA??

Cheers

Hi Guy,

The comment referred to them not buying the Class 66 now it was in the hands of “The Irish” (was more offensive language)

Not sure what you are talking about “the Irish lot”???

Cheers

Fran

Fair enough, that's pretty offensive Fran.

I thought you were referring to Kev's post on Dean Park that MCC responded to (which also touched on the nationality question but with a much different angle).

If that's really what was written about the 66, then that's totally out of order.

Hi Guy,

It most certainly was. I was quite shocked to see it but it’s the world we live in I guess. Appreciate the concern and fair play to come out to bat for your friend Kev but it wasn’t the comment I was referring to.

Glad it’s all cleared up now.

Cheers!

Great news on them having arrived. Will be fantastic to play the spot the difference game.

I presume this is one of Richard's official first jobs! If so no pressure :P I'm sure he'll do you grand!
