Guest Jack Benson Posted May 31, 2019 Share Posted May 31, 2019 Phil, It is a big fib to claim that the Southwark Bridge kit is our first, there is a Cambrian 8-plank coal open on the workbench that is teaching us that not all kits are created equal. It has taken a considerable amount of fettling just to get to this stage, the main issue being the brake shoes that are slightly overlong between the wheels, gradual careful scraping with a scalpel has provided enough clearance.
