40034_Nick
On opening my class 68 i noticed a nice space for a EM speaker. Looks like a EM2 could fit in there without any surgery.. can it ??

SRman
Legomanbiffo for the sound is a very good way to go. For speakers, I used a double 'dumbo' speaker set up in mine. No modifications were needed to get it to fit in. Class 68 Speaker Installation - 2 by Jeffrey Lynn, on Flickr
Sir TophamHatt
Legomanbiffo sound here with a Zimo LS 55x22x09 speaker. I haven't been able to compare it with anything else in the real world, but it sounds fine. I would have looked at an EM2 but didn't fancy milling the loco. The Zimo speaker I have fits in very nicely. Edited April 27, 2019 by Sir TophamHatt
