Plow kitbash and a Jordan spreader

Recommended Posts

A cut down Bachmann 2-6-0 tender combined with wedge plough from a German Liliput tender where the main ingredients . The blade width, leading edge and a new top plate was added to with plasticard , the lamp support and housing out of the "bits box".

The spreader has added air hose(Hi-Tech details)plus a bit of vertical piping for the front brake hose, coupler cut lever at the rear. Also added is a gas bottle by the rear door for heating, a common sight on many spreaders. In the close up wing picture you can just see the brass stripe which runs under the cabin to keep the wings tight to the body for travelling, it's not fixed and barly visible at normal viewing distance.
