Ragtag
Hi all, pondering the conversion/creation of a few road-rail vehicles and wondered if anyone knew of a good source of small rail wheels akin to those used on a Defender or similar? Thanks in advance Stu

Ragtag
Yes the Oxford option is Plan B but I'd prefer not to spend £6 per wheelset if possible

Ragtag
5 hours ago, Steven B said: What scale? Yes that would help wouldn't it! I'm working in OO and looking to modify some vehicles to go alongside Oxford's Defender - a Ford Ranger and various trailers for example. Mike - I'd wondered about wheels from a smaller scale, that may be an avenue worth pursuing further - thanks for the tip.
RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted February 7, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 7, 2019 Apparently the rail wheels are easy to remove from the Oxford Defender, simply undo the screws to remove them. One T gauge axle/wheels set will set you back almost £10, check out N scale wheels, they should be a lot cheaper.
BernardTPM
By the link that Mike gave above you get 20 axles for £9.90, not one. 1
