It is intended by way of celebration of the good things that appear on here and I wouldn’t want to generate any criticism whatsoever of either the topics or contributors although gentle teasing would be OK. My selections are highly personal, based on topics I follow, my modelling interests and my take on forum life. Maybe there’s something here you’ve missed and maybe others could post their choices and highlight something I’ve missed. Best general modelling thread It has to be Wright Writes ably led by Tony and featuring a range of knowledgable and skilled contributors who often rectify the inexplicable bias towards the flat side of the country and green engines. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/64295-wright-writes/ Best layout thread This was hard and I’m showing my bias towards the LMS and four mil in selecting these contenders. Long trains on the WCML, banking and the nod to the Master Neverers. Best eclectic thread A highly personal choice but the Castle Aching thread stewarded by Edwardian has to be squeezed in somewhere.
