RMweb Gold sjrixon Posted April 30, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 30, 2023 They really did a nice job on the interior in the larger scale. I've a 4mm one and we only get blank plastic seats.

RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted May 30, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 30, 2023 Thanks David. I bought them last year at Warley. I have been painting them on and off since then. But it is a job I really have to be in the mood to do I find. Nice to get them all finished. Cheers, Ade.

RMweb Gold jamest Posted June 5, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 5, 2023 Hi, Have to agree with the earlier comment - you have made a really good job of painting and 'weathering' those figures. Regards, James 1 1
bluestag
Sorry if I missed it, but where did the figures come from? Nice paint job, too. 1
RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted June 6, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 6, 2023 They are from Modelu. They are 3D prints of real people. Not cheap at £7.50 each, but I got a great deal on mine. They often have sales with 15% off. Usual disclaimer applies. Cheers, Ade. 5

The pity is that all the loco crews (at least for my period of 1900) seem to be for right hand drive locos. Mine are LNWR, and are left hand drive. A driver would be leaning on his left arm and reaching for the regulator with his right. Edited June 10, 2023 by bluestag clarity
RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted June 10, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 10, 2023 I believe you can order left hand or right hand versions of each figure. Cheers , Ade. 1 4

You can, when I last ordered some loco crew left or right handed options were one of the drop down menus alongside the scale. Andrew 1
RMweb Gold Popular Post Adrian Stevenson Posted August 5, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted August 5, 2023 Hi Guys, no updates on the layout since my last post back in June. Sadly my Dad, who is 89, had a fall and ended up in hospital for two weeks in June. Only cuts and bruises but he also had an infection with fluid around his heart. I am his sole carer and have been for the past five years. Needless to say Railway Modelling and life in general has taken to back seat to looking after him this past weeks. Hopefully I will get a bit of a running session this weekend as our friends brother is over to stay and he is keen to see the layout. Cheers, Ade. 1
