Rhys Underwood
Been listening to a bit of Robert Palmer this past week. Including a rather good IMO live performance of Addicted to Love from 1997 Also getting back to listening to Halestrom after a small break, currently waiting for the 3rd covers EP of theirs to be released. One of the tracks from the 'Into the Wild Life' album from last year Others this week have been Republica, INXS, Moby, Men at Work, REM and The Mavericks. RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted October 25, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 25, 2016 Released as a soundtrack album for download today (so lots of shameless plugs for my favourite film composer): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0d4JXaN2fQ&list=PLYxOjHSrNagGO1jyDLnuXt1h4deex3Ijp It's a bit 'Adiemus' at times, but I really enjoy this soundtrack. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M6YQGPN/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477169372&sr=8-1&keywords=living+in+the+age+of+airplanes+soundtrack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5D78QH/ (U.S. site) https://itunes.apple.com/album/id1166487570

RMweb Gold Dunsignalling Posted October 26, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 26, 2016 The Dirty Truth by Joanne Shaw Taylor. I hadn't come across her stuff before and purchased it following her appearance on Later, Live the week before last. Excellent album; and I don't think it'll be long before her current one is on its way to me. John

Tim H
Voodoo Vegas - Freak Show Candy Floss. Old-school twin-guitar hard rock; had a download for some time, but the pre-ordered physical copy came today. Mostly Autumn - The Ghost Moon Orchestra. Revisiting this one, still a bit of a curate's egg of a record, but when it's good it's very good indeed.
