As far as I know the actual coach numbers in gold on the side were consecutive numbers in permanently coupled B set pairs. Wickham Green Posted November 19, 2018 Share Posted November 19, 2018 ...... and another word of caution, if I may ............ while Hornby Dublo called their non-gangwayed stock 'Suburban' they were, of course, not necessarily used in the suburbs - but the name seems to have stuck among the modelling fraternity ................. the 'B' sets, in particular, were very much rural branch line fare.
