Chameleon
Bit of a long shot but I’m trying to remember the name and or photos of an American layout I saw at Hartlepool a few years ago in one of the corridors. It was about 20 or so feet long but only about 18” wide. There were a bunch of sidings that came off at an angle into various buildings at the rear. There is superb detail all along the front edge of the layout. It’s not much to go on but does it jog anyone’s memory?

long island jack
Sweethome Chicago, here I am helping Jon, great layout, just a shame it's not on the circuit any more, and maybe soon to be dismantled!! Ray

I'll post some more tomorrow if you want Ray Edited November 8, 2018 by long island jack
RMweb Premium 70000 Britannia Posted November 8, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 8, 2018 The Sweetholme layouts were/are excellent Ray. More photos of either would be great. I see you’re at Spalding next year. Sue and I had a great time last weekend there. Very busy and lots of interest.
RMweb Premium cnw6847 Posted November 8, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 8, 2018 both are stunning layouts. Is Jon exhibiting at all?
long island jack
both are stunning layouts. Is Jon exhibiting at all? Jon's change of shift pattern mean he has only one weekend free a month, so not much chance to play trains, he helped me at York and Hartlepool this year. Think he's out this weekend helping my mate at Newcastle exhibition with his American layout Braddock, sadly I can't make it. He's planning a small UK layout. RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted November 9, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 9, 2018 Super thanks Ray, A return to British modelling is interesting after his previous UK layout. He always manages something slightly more challenging
Flatlander
Too bad he could not get it over here to the state to have it on the show circuit. It would be a big hit. It has been a very big inspiration for my own sectional layout with east coast urban setting. Is there a track plan of his layout? I have searched to no avail. TEAMYAKIMA
I can only concur that this/these is/are absolutely superb layout(s). I believe I saw one of them at Aly Paly a few years back.
