RBE
Thanks all, there has been a lot of work put into the model so far including a trip to Scunthorpe steel works to measure the real thing and take more photos than any sane person would ever need in order to produce the wagon. We are very proud of what we have produced. Regards Cav Edited October 31, 2018 by RBE

Trains4U
Will you be tooling any wonky stakes?

RBE
Will you be tooling any wonky stakes? I doubt that we will be tooling them but the material will be bendable to allow wonky stancions to be modelled.
Mike Storey
Looks promising. Dependent on price, I could justify up to six of these.
bazjones1711
Steel ingots made from Das clay , not sure if they are slightly oversized , but have seen a pic at Thornaby of BBA / BAA with 2 large ingots on each wagon If you are going to do cradles for the BBA wagon , how about the ex BOA cradles of which 5 were put on BBA to make them BIA for imported coil use , also used on BOA and BSA (ex BAA) wagons, link to the cradles https://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/brtrestlexva/h149289ac https://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/baa/h2ca80536

dj_crisp
Excellent choice. Will the bogies accept EM gauge wheels? Cheers Will
RBE
Hi Will. The bogies have been designed to take wheels upto P4 however you would have to either remove or adapt the brake gear as due to their nature (disk brakes) they have to be set at a partiular gauge. They are seperate items though so no big deal to resolve.
pitbull1845
This is great news... I will definitely be ordering some ..
