eastworld
Does anybody produce/has anybody produced a 4mm scale container with opening doors – ideally a 20ft one but I might be able to cut one down. I seem to recall that the old Triang Freightliner ones may have had this but they were longer than 20ft I believe. Stu
Fat Controller
The standard Hornby Freightliner container was a 20' one; however, the roof, sides and floor are all over-thick. C-Rail used to do some boxes in kit-form, so you could split the door moulding into two parts to model them in the 'open' position.

markw
The Dapol 20' and 40' containers have opening doors, so do the Hornby 20' and 40' as sold with the KFA.

wamwig
Being Laser cut kits maybe the Scale Model Scenery ones can be built to have open doors?
dasatcopthorne
Here are some Bachmann ones on our Club Layout ' Falcon Road'. The doors are certainly moveable. markw
But there is only one Bachmann in that photo, the COSCO one with the doors shut as that is how they are molded. The Hanjin is Hornby and the one with only one door is Dapol, not sure about the one with no doors probably Dapol as well.

Still, no one else bothered to post a photo. Edited September 25, 2018 by dasatcopthorne
