RMweb Gold 88C Posted September 19, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted September 19, 2018 An update on the layouts. The Club's N-gauge layout Kirktown is also expected to attend having been revamped to operate on DCC. Don't forget we have free parking and refreshments provided by the Summit Centre staff. You can read about Ambleside in the current issue of BRM. Brian
RMweb Gold 88C Posted September 30, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted September 30, 2018 Well in a couple of weeks it will be all over for another year. Our club layout, Ambleside, will be attending, those of you that have BRM will have seen Tony Wright's superb photos take both at Loughborough in September 2017 and in our club rooms more recently. The more observant of you may spot some of the improvements that we have made. For those of you who don't have BRM here is one of my photos but not up to Tony's standard. More to follow. RMweb Gold 88C Posted October 4, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 4, 2018 For those of you who prefer your castles in green, and who doesn't, there are bound to be some running on Newburn courtesy of Les James. Plenty of intersting stock for the GWR followers, it will all depend on what Les decides to bring and always plenty of action. Not one of my better pictures I'm afraid. RMweb Gold 88C Posted October 8, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 8, 2018 Nearly ready for next weekend, I'll be up at the club to dimantle Ambleside this evening and get it ready to transport to the Summit Centre. Talking of dismantling layouts the photo below is the best I could get of Kirktown before it is taken down. Hope to see you at the weekend, please say hello. You will probably find me on the club sales stand, how did I get that job? or less likely operating Ambleside or Newburn. Brian
RMweb Gold 88C Posted October 11, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 11, 2018 (edited) All packed up now and ready for loading the van tomorrow. A couple more pictures, again not the best quality. The Elizabethan's Ambleside. Les James' Newburn. Don't forget, £4 entrance, children free, free parking and refreshments available.
