RMweb Gold TravisM Posted August 30, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) I was wondering if BR’s white platform station signs are still in use on smaller stations on branch, minor lines or have most been replaced by the TOC that is operating the train service? RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted August 31, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 31, 2018 I think there are very few if any left now. The same design of rail alphabet black letterin on a white background is still used for location names at junctions etc and some signalboxes though. You can still find odd badly faded obsolete station signs on some signalboxes but these are mostly NSE etc.
