Thanks for posting this Dave, I had no idea what it was, the only Caroline's I know are my Step Daughter and a once famous Radio Ship. Although not suitable for Seven Mills, It would certainly be a colourful addition to my growing fleet.

RMweb Premium Hal Nail Posted July 2, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 2, 2020 It was at Paddington with a tractor throbbing away under the low roof below the taxi rank as I arrived on my way to work probably two years ago. RMweb Gold kipford Posted July 2, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 2, 2020 It was built from a MARC models kit. Unfortunately it seems that kit may be no longer available, see thread in the small suppliers section. Is it Bachman that does the LMS one?

To put half a dozen Crew / Inspectors inside would be a tidy sum on it's own, haha.
Baggies1961
Thats a beauty! Would love an inspection saloon, great for my small layout.

Andrew P
Don't get excited Guys, as you can clearly see, it's the Lima one I did some work on last year, and a previously unused shot. I just thought I'd throw it in this morning to pacify the watchers with Cromptonovirus, or the lockdown blues. Just a note on the pic above, it's hard to tell that the shot is only about 11ft in total. Edited July 2, 2020 by Andrew P
gismorail
Seeing that picture of the Lima Class 33 'Cromptonvirus' indeed Andy, it really does show how things have advanced on the 0 gauge scene in recent years ....I often wonder what possessed an Italian model company to start producing British 0 gauge stock all those years ago but we sure are thankful to them now looking back.... thanks for the blast from the past Andy Edited July 2, 2020 by gismorail

For reference Andy, its the former Southern Region General Managers Saloon, which if I remember right, was also used as Royal Working once. Now somewhat downgraded to a pure inspection saloon, its in the hands of Network Rail at Derby I believe and used for various trips out, route assessments and also for signal sighting runs on a couple of occasions. Popular Post Andrew P
Quite a good morning, I've fitted all the Exit Tracks to the Door Fiddle Yard, and re fitted the three Fiddle Yard Tracks ready to re wire. For the Track feed to the Fiddle Yard there will be a Male / Female Plug that I will plug in as I bring it across. and unplug on it's return to the storage position. In the event that I forget to unplug there will be a strait pull for the lead to self detach. Edited July 2, 2020 by Andrew P

Popular Post Andrew P
Another good afternoon, and I have finished Ballasting the first Board, as I hadn't done anything since laying the new Points and Track Layout. I've decided to use new Ballast for what was once the MOD Line, and assume it has just been re laid, which of course it has. 23
