Didn’t think it very pleasant to put it next to the gents Ill need to repaint or replace the phone with something less modern The K6 box wasn't introduced until 1936. Does that fit with your time period? 2

The layout is mid-late thirties so it should be okay. I chose this period so I could get away with having both the 'coat of arms' and 'roundel' liveries on the wagons and coaches I did a little research before buying one, just in case (unlike me I know) and you're quite right:- "In 1935 the K6 (kiosk number six) was designed to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of George V. It was consequently sometimes known as the "Jubilee" kiosk. It went into production in 1936" So I assumed it would be okay

MrWolf
It's entirely up to you, Rule#1 and all that! I knew that type of box dated from the mid thirties and that your layout is post '34 so I didn't mention it.

RMweb Gold lezz01 Posted June 11, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 11, 2021 I think that dive bombing the bus would be a little excessive as the bridge would need rebuilding. Have you seen the mess a 500lb bomb makes? Regards Lez. 1

I had the kit because it was free with a railway modelling magazine but I never intended to build it because I wanted a stone building. However like most of us I couldn’t throw it away so I’ve designed it to use all the other components in the kit…..waste not want not Edited June 11, 2021 by chuffinghell
RMweb Gold chuffinghell Posted June 11, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted June 11, 2021 Despite the telephone box causing a little controversy I’d taken @MrWolf’s advice on board and painted the phone black which has made it look less modern inside Ive also attempted to knock off the gloss by giving it a coat of satin varnish I think it possibly needs a black wash?
