Rapido's publicity is illustrated with a photo of Poitiers in lined goods green and with Westinghouse pump outside the cab side sheet: [Embedded link to Rapido website] Leghorn is illustrated by a photo showing the same condition but not so well-turned out: [Embedded link to Rapido website] The lining can just be made out; if anything the red lines bordering the black are clearer here than the black itself, whereas on Poitiers they're hardly visible. Since both engines are Westinghouse-fitted one expects the red lines bordering the black. Since these photos have been used to illustrate the models, one presumes this is the condition in which the models will be finished. The specifications confirm this, stating: E1 No.127 ‘Poitiers’ LBSCR goods green Stroudley boiler and chimney Wooden brake blocks Original style smokebox door Condensing pipes fitted No coal rails Plus lots of other locomotive specific details and E1 No.122 ‘Leghorn’ LBSCR goods green Stroudley boiler and chimney Wooden brake blocks Original style smokebox door Condensing pipes fitted No coal rails Plus lots of other locomotive specific details Edited July 31, 2022 by Compound2632

Do you know what version you'll be producing? For avoidance of doubt, there is no plain green livery. Unfitted goods liveried locos had plain 1.5" black lining. Fitted locos had a half inch red band either side of the black. I hope that this helps. trevor7598
From the list of proposed liveries there doesn't seem to be an early crest Isle of Wight version, very important for the BR era up to 1960. No 4 Wroxall lasted this late.

It's not an unreasonable place to ask the question - it appears that @rapidoandy and others do look here and the answer would be of general interest. (Though note to @Fredo: tagging the person to whom the question is directed would probably help in eliciting a response.)

Forester
Disappointed Rapido follow the herd in having polished copper pipes on unlined black BR workaday minor steam locos. The only place I ever saw polished copper pipes in the 1950s was in posh gents' loos. Otherwise a nice looking model.

Those pictures shown back in January were only CAD renders - nowhere near being livery samples - so I'm sure the folk at Rapido will have had time to reflect on the error of their ways.
