tigerburnie
I'm new to this making of buildings, I had a go at scratch building some station buildings for my Leicester Great Central station, not very good really, so I decided I need more practice. Having built one signal box from a Metcalfe kit, which was a bit messy, I had another go last night using pva glue instead of squeezing adhesive out of a tube, have to say this was a whole lot more satisfying, so I'm now thinking of trying to scratch build the station units again, any hints or tips gratefully received. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/124304-the-great-central-in-and-around-leicester-195565/
Campaman
If you look at each building as a series of boxes joined together it makes building them easier as you only have to think about one section at a time.
