trevorsmith3489
As the title says I am wondering how close should I be putting a building loading platform to the track? Β Thanks Johna Tape pencils to the middle and both ends of your longest vehicle and run that on the track so the pencil points make a mark on your baseboard. This will be the edge of your loading platform or will mark how close a building can be to the track. The process works for both straight/curved track.Β

RMweb Gold Regularity Posted March 31, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 31, 2018 There was sometimes a surprising gap, which would be bridged by portable boards. Β If your platform is on the inside of a curve, put the pencil at the middle of the inside of the longest vehicle.
RMweb Gold 2mmMark Posted March 31, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 31, 2018 Quite a bit of use is made of portable unloading ramps.Β One of these would make an interesting model. RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted March 31, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 31, 2018 My impression of the trad team track was that it was just a siding, widely spaced from other roads, so that the consignor/consignee could bring his cart alongside, drawn by the team of horses.
