RMweb Gold Barry Ten Posted March 14, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 14, 2018 Just thought I'd mention this special issue of Loco Revue which I picked up during a recent trip to France: Â Â It's a cracking read, especially for anyone with an interest in the slightly grottier, seedier side of railways, with really good tips on getting the best of Peco track, creating inlaid rails, modelling roads, retaining walls, tunnels, factory structures and so on. There are some really useful plans included, for a range of atmospheric buildings. The photos are mostly of a large, minimalist layout which is almost entirely based around industrial sidings, with useful shots taken at various points in the construction. It's a bit reminiscent of that excellent p87 layout that has featured in LR, MRJ and other places, but built to HO standards instead. Â I found it a really absorbing and inspiring issue, one I'll be dipping back into with some regularity.
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted March 14, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 14, 2018 Thankyou. I am lucky enough to have these on the shelf in my local supermarché, and was thumbing through Hors Series 58 last night, so will look out for this one.
