locoholic
Does anyone know what the problem is with the ATW 175 units, as they've all been withdrawn for safety checks and there is no service Cardiff to Bangor via Hereford and Shrewsbury until further notice. hexagon789
Wheelset checks, certain VTWC Super Voyagers have been taken out of service for checks too. A set of points on the North Coast line has been causing flange back contact to passing trains.

I wonder how long it will take to rectify the damage, and how much it will cost Network Rail? Have the freight trains on the route also been damaged?
